Warming & temperature
How long does it take to warm?
Under 5 minutes for a 6 oz bottle. Timing depends on the amount, thickness and starting temperature of the milk or formula, the room temperature, and the rest time between warms.¹
What temperature does it warm to?
Body temperature (~98.6°F). The bottle draws power only from the Smart Warming Puck, and that power shuts off if any of the three protection sensors trips or the liquid gets too hot.
Does it keep milk warm?
Yes. If the bottle stays on the Puck after a full warm, it keeps milk warm for up to 30 minutes, then the heater powers off.⁴
Can it warm thickened formula?
No. Mix formula powder fully before warming. The system isn't designed for thickened formulas, such as those with rice cereal, bean gum or corn flour.³
Battery & charging
How long does a charge last?
A full charge covers two full warms. The exact number depends on the amount, thickness and starting temperature of the milk or formula, and the room temperature. In sleep mode, a full charge lasts more than 2 months.
How do I check the battery level?
Solid white lights on the Puck show the battery level. Five lights is a full charge and one is low. A single flashing white light means it's time to charge.
Which charger should I use?
Only the PS5000 power adapter that comes with the Puck.
App
Can I warm without the app?
Yes. With the filled bottle on the Puck, double-press the button. You won't get a notification without the app, so watch for five solid orange lights.
What does the Ember Baby app do?
Start a warm from your phone, get an alert when the bottle is ready, and track feedings and your baby's growth.
How do I pair the Puck?
Download the Ember Baby app and follow the prompts. The Puck flashes blue while it's in pairing mode.
Compatibility
Can I use Dr. Brown's or Philips Avent nipples?
Yes, with the matching adapter collar. The Dr. Brown's™ collar fits Wide-Neck nipples and the Philips Avent™ collar fits Natural nipples. Their nipples aren't included.²
Does the Add-On Bottle warm on its own?
No. The Add-On Bottle has no battery or Bluetooth. It gets power only while it sits on the Smart Warming Puck, so that's the only place it warms.
Can I move up to 8 oz bottles?
Yes. 8 oz bottle bodies are sold separately in the Bottle Body 2-Pack.
How long does the Dome keep milk cool?
Up to 4 hours at home or on the go.⁴ Warm surroundings shorten that time.
Nipples
Which nipple levels come in the box?
The System includes Level 1 nipples on the bottles, plus Level 2 and Level 3 nipples. Level 4 is sold separately.
When should I move up a level?
Watch each feed. Taking longer than usual to finish, falling asleep during feeding, or getting irritated while feeding can all mean it's time for the next level. Check with your pediatrician if you're unsure.
How often should I replace nipples?
After about 2 months, or sooner if they show signs of wear.
Care & cleaning
What's dishwasher safe?
The cap, nipple, collar, bottle body and base, top rack only. The Bottle Body and Collar are also sterilizer and boiling-water safe.
How do I clean the Puck?
Wipe it with a damp cloth, baby wipe or alcohol wipe. Never submerge, refrigerate or freeze it, and don't put it in the dishwasher.
How do I clean the Dome?
Hand wash it daily in warm soapy water and let it air dry. Don't sterilize, refrigerate or submerge it.

The Ember Baby Bottle System comes with a 1-year warranty. Contact us and we'll help with a claim.

Nipple adapter for Philips Avent™ is compatible with Philips Avent™ Natural™ and Natural Response™ nipples only. Additional nipples may be added in the future once compatibility is confirmed. Ember is not affiliated with Dr. Brown's™ or Philips Avent™. Dr. Brown's™ or Philips Avent™ nipples are not included and must be provided by the customer.

Consult with your pediatrician on safe milk/formula consumption and how to safely store milk/formula. Follow formula instructions. High temperatures and ambient conditions will decrease the length of time milk/formula can be stored using the Insulating Dome.
