How It Works

Everything you need to set up, warm, feed and clean the Ember Baby Bottle System.

Before your first feed

Charge the Puck

Plug it in with the included PS5000 power adapter. Five solid white lights mean it's fully charged.

Pair the app

Download the Ember Baby app and follow the prompts. The Puck flashes blue while it's in pairing mode.

Wash the parts

Wash the cap, nipple, collar, bottle body and base before the first feed. They're dishwasher safe, top rack only.

The app is optional. You can warm with the button on the Puck.

Warming in three steps

Step 1

Fill & place

Fill the bottle with breast milk or mixed formula and set it on the Smart Warming Puck.

Step 2

Press to warm

Double-press the button on the Puck, or start a warm remotely from the Ember Baby app.

Step 3

Ready to feed

Five solid orange lights mean the bottle is at temperature.

Not ready yet? Leave the bottle on the Puck and it keeps milk warm for up to 30 minutes.⁴

On the go

Cool now, warm when you need it

Fill the bottle and slide the Insulating Thermal Dome over it. Milk stays cool for up to 4 hours at home or on the go.⁴

When it's time to feed, take off the Dome and set the bottle on the Puck. Keep a Puck in the kitchen, the nursery or the diaper bag.

Questions

How long does it take to warm?

Under 5 minutes for a 6 oz bottle. Timing depends on the amount, thickness and starting temperature of the milk or formula, the room temperature, and the rest time between warms.¹

What temperature does it warm to?

Body temperature (~98.6°F). The bottle draws power only from the Smart Warming Puck, and that power shuts off if any of the three protection sensors trips or the liquid gets too hot.

Can I warm without the app?

Yes. With the filled bottle on the Puck, double-press the button. You won't get a notification without the app, so watch for five solid orange lights.

Can it warm thickened formula?

No. Mix formula powder fully before warming. The system isn't designed for thickened formulas, such as those with rice cereal, bean gum or corn flour.³
